授業概略と目標
[Course description and Objects]
You will learn features of microbes which are invisible organisms by naked eyes, but, exist enormously in the environments. The microbes in this class are bacteria, viruses and prion, fungi and protozoas. Microbes have two aspects to human lives, usefulness and harmfulness. You will learn mainly on the harmful side in this class. The class is contains lectures and discussions, assignments, quizzes, laboratory experiments and papers, oral presentations and exams. You will learn main stream of the pathogenicity of the microbes, infectious diseases, as well as the protection mechanisms against them including sanitation, chemotherapy and immunity.
到達目標
